INTRODUCTION ---------------------- Well, I do not really know why I am doing a Jerry Lawler character guide. He has never been one of my favorite characters to use in Wrestlemania 2000, despite the fact of his size. I do not use him that much because his size limits his speed and agility. I prefer a high flyer like Matt or Jeff Hardy. Regardless, someone out there has to be using him, to you few, here you are, and enjoy my guide! Please address all comments to my email address listed above. Thanks, and enjoy my guide! ---------------------- IV. BIOGRAPHY ---------------------- Height: 6'0" Weight: 270 pounds From: Memphis, Tennessee Carrer Highlights: Announcer Finishing Move: Piledriver (Biography from Prima Games) A legend in the sport, Jerry ³The King² Lawler has held dozens of championships throughout his long and incredibly successful career. A longtime favorite of Memphis, Tennessee, Lawler assumed the label of ³The King² after defeating former mentor Jackie Fargo. His finishing move, The Piledriver, was so punishing, that the move was banned from several territories where Lawler competed. In the years that followed, the Superstar garnered hundreds of victories- and made national headlines. In 1993, ³The King² entered the World Wrestling Federation and immediately established himself as a top contender to the Federation Championship. Since that time, the legend has been a mainstay at the commentatorıs table for Raw, Smackdown, and pay per views but he isnıt afriad to step in the ring when necessary. (My 2 cents, 1.84 cents canadian) From wrestling to commentating, ³The King² has done it all. I have never actually seen him wrestle but he is a very funny commentator. Recently, I have had the pleasure of seeing him wrestle, and let me tell you, he is a pretty good wrestler, even if he is up there in the years. He has been recently involved on TV with his current real life girlfriend Stacy Carter (aka The Kat) and has seemed to have a lot of fun doing it. Jerry Lawler can entertain both at the commentator's table and in the wrestling ring. He is also a good character to use in the game WWF Wrestlemania 2000, even if I do not prefer to use him as much as I would have liked to. ---------------------- V.
