REVISION HISTORY ---------------------- version 1.1 (June 26, 2000): 2nd version. Fixed a lot of errors and corrected some formatting. Also added some more info on two of the sections, including some more of my personal thoughts on Jim Ross. version 1.0 (March 29, 2000): 1st version. ---------------------- III. INTRODUCTION ---------------------- Well, I do not really know why I am doing a Jim Ross character guide. After all, he is not really a wrestler. He is just an announcer (and vice president). Also, He has never been one of my favorite characters to use in Wrestlemania 2000, despite the fact of his size. I do not use him that much because his size limits his speed and agility. I prefer a high flyer like Matt or Jeff Hardy. Regardless, someone out there has to be using him, to you few, here you are, and enjoy my guide! Please address all comments to my email address listed above. Thanks, and enjoy my guide! ---------------------- IV. BIOGRAPHY ---------------------- Height: ????? Weight: ????? From: Oklahoma Carrer Highlights: Announcer Finishing Move: Piledriver (Biography from Prima Games) Since 1993, Ross has been a master of all trades in the Stamford, Connecticut- based company. Since joining the World Wrestling Federation at Wrestlemania IX, he has racked up more hours behind the microphone than quite possibly anybody else in the business. From broadcasting major Pay Per View events, to RAW on Monday Nights, Ross has done it all in the World Wrestling FederationŠ and then some! Along with his broadcast position, the veteran is responsible for the Ross Report, a highly successful 900 call-in option, now featured on wwf.com. Many have attempted to copy J.R.ıs style of broadcasting, but few will be able to accomplish what this Oklahoma native has been able to do his entire career succeed as a two-sport broadcaster on the gridiron and in the squared circle of the World Wrestling Federation! (My 2 cents, 1.84 cents canadian) From wrestling to commentating, Jim Ross has done it all. I have never actually seen him wrestle but he is a very good commentator. And as of this day, I have still yet to see him lace up the boots and wrestle in an official match. Unless you count that time he teamed up with Stone Cold, but he didnıt really wrestle then. For now, Iıll just be content on watching him announce and playing as him in the game WWF Wrestlemania 2000. It would be funny to one day actually see him wrestle, however. Maybe in the future the WWF will do this. ---------------------- V.
