(NOTE: If you believe any of this give me a email, and tell me your side of the story, shinnokzx@yahoo.com) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: If you beat the Elite four using TWO LV. 75 onix's, after you beat them, you swim around Cinnabar island and run into MEW... Truth: My friend at school said this, I believe he is full of pokecrap, I have never seen his Mew, nor has any of his friends, but if you beleive this email me... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: The guy in the little shack has a pikachu, and if you press "A" on it 100 times, you will make him mad a fight him, he is said to be at LV. 68 (?) and will know the same moves YOUR pikachu currently has...as the same as every pokemon, you can catch him... Truth: Uhhh... Why would you wanna 'nother pikachu? Why do you think Prof. Oak gives you a Pikachu at the first?? Idiocy... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: Outside Pewter city (right by Mt. Moon entrance) you can catch a Mew as well as another pikachu...just go to that one trainer that says "I triped over a rocky pokemon named Geodude," Then go to the pokecenter right there, and talk to Chancey exactly 47 times, then go to the closest grass area, you will find them... Truth: Huh? Bullcrap. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: In the Safari zone, there is a secret cave at the very end...if you enter it, you will find 7 master balls, and LV. 100 pokemon... Truth: I don't know where the cave entrance is...I heard this rumor in a chat room in yahoo... apparently, you can catch Togepi's, and Aerodactly's, and Kangaskhan's, and even a wild LV. 100 Jolteon, this is I think a load of donkey kaka... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: When you get all 150 pokemon is your Dexter (NOT including MEW) you go to Bill's house, and he will let you in his secret garden of Pokemon, witch also has Togepi's and other "new" pokemon... Truth: I had heard from FIVE people at my school saying this is True, my close friend, that has been playing RED version for quite a while, has never heard of it, So i'm looking into it, if you heard it was true then email me..... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: If you put a american version of YELLOW into a japanese version of Pokemon stadium, you will start out with all 151 Pokemon, there moves, MAX levels, and such... Truth: I think this is complelty bologna, I think that if you do something stupid like put a Yellow version in a japanese version of Pokemon Stadium, it would just downright screw up your gameboy game... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Rumor: If you get All the Eevee evolutions, then Bill will get mad and say "There not my favorite pokemon anyways" And throw you out and not let you in again.. Truth: Huh? Why would he throw you out? This I heard At a Pokemon Cards trading website, some guy messaged me and said this... *********************************************************************** (10) Side Area's This is the part of the guide where it says where the areas are after you beat the Elite four... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Where: Cycling Road How to get there: Go to either the West side od Celadon or Fushcia... Average LV. pokemon: 25-30 What Pokemon: Ponyta: You may want to catch a low level Ponyta, because if you catch a LV. 28-30 , it is really hard to Level up, and it evolves clear in the heck at LV. 40! Slopoke: As allways, surf up and down the coastal shores to catch him, way easy to battle and catch.. Slobro: In the same place as Slopoke, but is way harder to catch, and to see, so get it down to the lowest level of HP, and put it to sleep THEN catch it with a great ball.. Shellder: (Fishing only!) Just as easy to catch as any other water pokemon, he may be at a high level when you see him, so go ahead and get the water stone and evolve him (If he's above LV. 30!) Tentacool: (Fishing Only!) By now you should be about sick of Tentacool's, same level's, same attacks, same HP, just run if you see him, but if you haven't catched him yet, look around for higher level tentacool's to catch. Doduo: He will rather be a nuisance in the grassy area's, but look for a high level one, an catch it with a pokeball.. Dodrio: (EXTRA RARE!) Even though if you catch a Doduo and only train it 2 levels, and still get Dodrio, but if you run into one, your pretty dang lucky, I have only seen one ONCE, and that was when I only had pokeballs...so I would use a GREAT ball or even a ULTRA ball to catch it... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Where: Power Plant How to get there: Take the route by BILL's house.. Average LV. pokemon: 20-50 Pokemon: Magnemite: Possibly the first pokemon you will see in the Power Plant, he is at a astonishingly high level, but there are Magnetons hover'n around here so I would wait... Magneton: I could only find LV. 34 Magnetons for some reason, if you waited on the magnemite, and was goin' for magneton, here's your chance, but You coukd still LV. up your magnemite... Voltorb: Very annoying, I would catch one at the end, because there LV> seems to increase farther into the PP, watch out though, because what looks like Pokeballs, might be Voltorbs! Electrode: (RARE!) I only saw ONE of these, but I couldn't catch it, so make sure you have some Great balls on hand in order to cath this pain.. Zapdos (ONE): Yep one of the Legendary birds is here, and he is the easiest forunatly, just get his damage dwon to just anout nothing, put him asleep by Vileplume, and throw Ultra balls 'till ya drop! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Where: Unknown Dungeon How to get there: North West of Curulean city, that cave that that guy was blocking... Average LV. of pokemon: 60-75 Pokemon: (Note: Must use ULTRA balls to catch!) Rhyhorn: He's not LV. 20 safari game pokemon no more, he is now at LV. 60 and stronger then ever! But I would wait to catch a RHYDON with you will come about of alot.. Rhydon: Yes! He is surprisingly easy to catch, but his HP is higher then crap so it will take a while..you will encounter these ALOT! Ditto: Yep, these mimes will LV. around 60-65. so use a Medium powerful pokemon for him, he can only know transform, so you don't wanna sick your LV. 90 Pikachu on him! Sandslash: I think you will allready have a sandslash by nowm so he's pointless..but still powerful.. Lickitung: I haven't seen him in here, but other people has, all that I know is that I want him! Chansey's: At it's level, it's the hardest pokemon to catch, put it to sleep the first chance you get, then hope it won't ever wake up the rest of the battle, since it knows MINIMIZE, it is very hard to catch, even when you put it to sleep it still is! MewTwo: If you saved up you MASTER BALL, you won't even have totouch mewtwo, he is at LV. 70, and is the most powerful Psychic pokemon in the game... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Where: Sea Foam Islands How to get there: Use SURF from the shore in FUSHCIA city... Average LV. pokemon: 20-50 Pokemon: Paras: This little guy is easy to catch, usaully he's just ONE LV. away from evolution, nice Stun Spore Pokemon to have in your line-up.. Parasect: Just as easy to catch as Paras... Slowpoke: These LV's are more Higher then the ones you see at Cycling Road, but just as easy to catch.. Krabby: Another Nuisance, just run or kill him every time you see him.. Kingler: This guy is very neat to..with it's Guillinte (The one-hit killer) this should be in your WATER lineup.. Zubat: Annoying, just annoying, I would rather save your pokeballs for Golbat... Golbat: Will pop up just about anywhere, and very easy to catch, it is just as powerful as Arbok, so he is worthy of being in your lineup........ Staryu:(Fishing Only!) there are at a very high level, and they are easy to catch, and the "Recover" move of Starmie is very cool to use too... Articuno: The hardest to catch out of the Legendary birds, do the same routine as with Zapdos, but it will probibly consume more Ultra balls though... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Where: Safari Zone How to get there: Go west of FUSHCIA city, you must have $500.. Average LV. pokemon: 10-30 Pokemon: Eggexcute: Pretty easy to catch, one or two rocks should do it.. Ryhorn: Three rocks is what it took me...then the safari ball.. Chansey: This ones tough, 2 baits, 4 rocks, and then a Safari Ball for a lucky catch Nidoran (male): Easy, in fact you might just accidentaly catch one by clicking on "Safari Ball," But there LV.'s can get very high, as high as 40.. NidoRan (female): Same as the male.. Nidorina: Since you should allready of had a Nidorina by now, you shouldn't bother, but they do like to pop up around the 2'nd and 3'rd area alot though.. Kangaskhan: This is one of the Easiest to catch, sometimes, if your lucky, you will just throw a safari ball without throwing anything else, and still catch it... Pinsir: (EXTRA, ExTrA, RaRe!!!!) I have not run into one yet, but there is one in the yellow version, and in the 3'rd area.....very, VERY hard to catch I hear... it takes a good 10 rocks to atleast get it to stumble into the safari ball... Scyther: (EXTRA RARE ALSO!!) Not AS rare as Pinsir, but easier to catch, I had one but I traded it, but I have come so clode to cathing another one.. Cubone: Not that hard to catch! But very un-useful, there are Marowaks around here so wait untill you see a Marowak.. Marowak: A little harder to catch then Cubone, it seems like to run more too, well..they can range of LV.'s around 24... >>>>>>>>Fishing Pokemon<<<<<<<<<(You fish for it) Dratini!!!: Yes, this is not an easy battle to win, 3 rocks, and some bait sometimes, MIGHT catch it, but when you do catch it, boy is it hard to raise! It evolves and LV. 30(!!) at Dragonairem and LV. 50 (!@#$%^&*) for Dragonite! Sheesh, But they usaully swim around are one, and can range from LV. 10-15 Dragonaire:(EXTRA frickin' rare!) I have only ran into this guy ONCE, it's LV. was at 35, and was super hard to catch, so as allways, it ran like a li'l whimp.... Magikarp: Sheesh, more boring frickin' Magikarp, LV. 10-15 again, if you save up Gyarados's then go ahead and catch 10, there easy as hell to catch... *********************************************************************** (11) Information, Ending FAQ..
