Soul Calibur is one of my favorite arcade games of all time, so i expected the Dreamcast one to have the same effect on me. So after playing the JAPANESE version, what can I say? Does it diapoint? Not in the least. Definetly one of the top 5 fighting games of all time.

GRAPHICS 10/10 WOW I am drooling. I cannot believe how good the graphics are in this game!!! There is no slowdown and the graphics are virtually arcade perfect. The charcters designs are wonderful and there is no breakup whatsoever. WOW

CONTROL 5/10 Uhhh... the control in this game is not good at all with the regular Dreamcast controller at all. Mastering the game's combos is impossible. Your best bet is to buy an arcade stick, but that's 40 bucks down the drain. But it's worth it to play this incredible game!!

GAMEPLAY 10/10 The gameplay in this game is classic fighting game all the way. There are more charcters to choose from than the original Soul Blade. It is mostly like Tekken 3, with ringouts, lots of combos, and more. But there are weapons added. Each characters have a weapon, and the good news is that there is no more weapon metr, so you can block as much as you want without fear.

FUN FACTOR 11/10 If you get a Dreamcast and don't get this game, you must be smoking something. Seriously, this game and Marvel vs Capcom are the two best reasons to get the Dreamcast. Shame on you if you don't get some Soul Calibur action!
